2 large double rooms in house with garden in Bethnal Green

When we say large doubles, we really do mean large! It’s a great price for the size plus excellent location. Both rooms are AVAILABLE NOW and are only free due to one exiting housemate buying and the other leaving London. We deal direct with the landlady so there are no fees to pay.

We are a 2 minute walk to Bethnal Green underground station, 10 min walk to Stepney Green underground and a 5 min walk to both Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath overground stations. We have a number of green spaces within walking distance, plus two big supermarkets. We’re close to a lot of East London attractions: Shoreditch and Brick Lane, Victoria Park, Columbia Road Flower Market, Regents Canal. We’re on Roman Road is a vibrant area with lots of shops, cafes and a market.

The house

It’s a maisonette so has an upstairs and a downstairs. It was refurbished with a new kitchen and neutral decor throughout before we moved in two years ago so it feels fresh. The highlight is the back and front gardens which are full of plants and space to relax in, and Lucie keeps in top condition. There is a large kitchen with lots of storage space, washing machine, fridge freezer and everything else you need. We’re lucky enough to have two big communal storage cupboards too. There is a bathroom upstairs and an additional toilet and sink downstairs.

Bills (everything included) are only around £60 a month.

The housemates

You will live with two other women who all love to have this space as a quiet, relaxing escape. Lucie has just finished her PHD and loves gardening. Nathalie works in retail, likes dancing and organises The International Animal Rights Conference in her spare time.

Who this would really suit
We are looking for someone clean, tidy and respectful who wants their home to be a quiet retreat from the day-to-day. Whilst the new housemates don’t have to be vegetarian, we ask that no meat or fish is brought into the house – the housemates are veggie and vegan so this is a must. Although it’s fairly chilled, we still like it to feel like a friendly home and so are looking for someone who likes a bit of a natter while they’re making dinner or over a cup of tea/glass of wine, and are up for having shared dinners or film nights from time to time. We do all have our own lives so aren’t necessarily hanging out together daily.
