Two double rooms in sunny house with garden in Holloway

Hi! We are looking for two new people to join our flatshare in Holloway, midway between Archway and Finsbury Park stations.

Both available rooms are on the top floor. The smaller room (610pcm, fits a double bed, wardrobe, small desk and a storage rack) is next to the main bathroom, overlooks the garden and is very sunny, while the largest room (890pcm) is an en-suite (shower & toilet) with built-in wardrobes and plenty of space a desk and all your stuff. We have a lovely living room that we like to hang out in and a kitchen with gas hobs, plus two bathrooms and one separate toilet. The garden has enough space to park several bicycles – we all cycle to commute or for fun.

The house is around the corner from busy Holloway road and Seven Sisters road, with all the food shops you’ll need and a decent selection of restaurants/pubs. Finsbury Park Station (Piccadilly, Victoria lines) and Archway Station (Northern) are both a 15-min walk, while Upper Holloway (Overground) is a 5-10 min walk away. A number of buses stop a few minutes away too, including the 91, 43 and 17.

You’ll be living with Jamie (civil servant; British, 27), Natalia (finishing up an internship; Colombian), Roberto (freelance photographer and new to London; Dutch, 28) and Kirsty (finishing up her MA at SOAS; also Dutch, 27). Jamie and Kirsty have lived here for a year already, while Natalia and Roberto are our respective partners who are moving in with us. Due to the pandemic, there’s been a lot more working at home than usual, but in pre-pandemic times we all led relatively busy lives during the week, with evenings and weekends designed for good food and relaxing on the sofa.

We’re looking for people (all nationalities, genders and sexual orientations welcome) who want to make this a home and are keen to have the occasional flat drinks or dinner. Professionals preferred, but mature students will be considered if they have a guarantor (doesn’t have to be UK-based). Unfortunately, the house is not fully accessible, as all bedrooms are on the upper floors.

The landlord requires a credit check, previous landlord references and a workplace reference or guarantor. The contract is for 6 months and rolling with a two-month notice period after that.
